Who Sir? Me Sir?

Today, I talk about "Who Sir? Me Sir?". This book is a story that abandoned students fight disgusting rich students of other school in a competition. The competition is tetrathlon. It is like a triathlon, but is different in term of kinds of sports. It consists of running, swimming, shooting and cross-country riding. I'll introduce interesting points with quotation.

His real name is Rossiter, but when someone spoke to him, he always said, 'Who? Me?', so everyone called him 'Hoomey'.

This sentence is introduction of a main character. I just like this word play. It was very rare and and interesting that two words of his habit become his nickname as a word.

The crowd shouted with laughter when they saw this stranger group, dressed only in swimming things, and Jazz with his long black hair covering his face.

This scene is where they run away from the home because they were exposed to the pool without permission. What they done never forgive, but it's funny to imagine them desperately escaping in the cold. In other words, they were serious to win competition.

... and one of the officials had his red flag up - red for blood, which meant they needed an ambulance.

This sentence is in the scene where Hoomey is riding. When he doesn't appear,  easily, others of his team see this situation. I was most surprised this scene. I was wondering what happened to him and they would lose.

Lastly, I don't like stories of this kinds, because the flow of story is alike. But  this story is different. I didn't expect this last. Please check it how this story finish.
